Abstract

The volume documents the field work of Ray Bassler in Maryland and Tennessee, 1916 - 1918. The volume includes entries that are narrative in structure and sometimes dated. Entries are usually headed with location, followed by descriptions, detailed lists of photographs taken, geological sections, specimens found, and sketches. Locations include but are not limited to Hagerstown, Maryland; Pulaski, Tennessee.
