Abstract

The volume documents the field work of Ray Bassler in Ohio and Kentucky, 1909. Entries are headed with location, followed by additional location information (e.g. landmarks), geological sections with detailed notes, references to fossils found, lists of locations, sometimes narrative descriptions of geological characteristics, and pasted maps with notations. Includes multiple loose inserts of notes and geological sections. Some entries are dated. Bassler writes from the front and the back of the volume.
