Abstract

The notebook documents the geological and paleontological work of William J. Sando in China, August 17 - September 16, 1987. Entries are dated and narrative in structure. They are short but provide concise details about travel (transportation, accommodations, times, expenses), to-do lists, personal observations, pictures taken, weather, work completed, daily activities, meetings, names of colleagues with whom worked, and field sites in China. Sites in China include but are not limited to Dashuiga, Yellow River Valley, and Li River.
