PrintThe black-and-white photographs of Laysan albatross were taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey, 1965-1967. The photographs depict Laysan albatross standing on beach, feeding a chick, and various ages of Laysan albatross from chicks to adult. Labels on reverse of photographs list brief captions and location. Photographs were taken by C. D. Hackman, P. C. Shelton, Dennis Stadel, and US Naval Air Station, Midway. Photographs were taken on Laysan Island, Lisianski Island, and Pearl and Hermes Reef.
