Abstract

The note books documents the work of William J. Sando while in France and the Soviet Union, August 29 - September 28, 1975. Entries are dated and narrative in structure. They are short but provide concise details about travel (transportation, accommodations, times, expenses, mileage), personal observations, weather, meetings attended, work completed, daily activities, personal impressions and stories of travel abroad, names of colleagues with whom worked, and descriptions geological characteristics of field trip sites in Russia. May include a list of specimens.
