Abstract

The diary documents the work of William J. Sando in Wyoming and the western United States, July 6 - August 29, 1970. Entries are dated and narrative in structure. They describe travel (transportation, accommodations, times, expenses, mileage), personal observations, weather, names of colleagues with whom worked, field work locations, descriptions for photographs taken in the field. Locations are usually identified by geological landmark (e.g canyon).
