Abstract

The diary documents the work of William J. Sando in the vicinity of Wyoming, July 1 - August, 1965. Entries are dated and narrative in structure. They are short but provide concise details relating to travel (transportation, accommodations, times, expenses), personal observations, weather, names of colleagues with whom worked, personal details, daily activities and work, and short descriptions of work in the field, often identifying location by section name. Localities include but are not limited to: Red Creek, Buffalo Creek, Blue Creek, Rock Creek, Crazy Woman Creek, Wyoming.
