Abstract

The black-and-white photographs of Ruddy Turnstone (Arenavia interpres ) were taken as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program in 1964 and 1967. The photographs depict Ruddy turnstone flock in the surf of Laysan Island, in vegetation, and a field where they look for food. The photographs were taken in Kure Atoll, Laysan Island, and St. George Island.
