Abstract

The diary documents the work of William J. Sando in vicinity of Wyoming and Montana, June 11 - August 25, 1962. Entries are dated and narrative in structure. They are short but provide concise details relating to travel (transportation, accommodations, times, expenses), personal observations, weather, names of colleagues with whom worked, personal details, daily activities and work, and locations where worked in the field. Localities include but are not limited to the vicinity of Squaw Creek and Sacajawea Peak, Montana as well as Fossil, Wyoming.
