Abstract

The notebook documents work of Axel A. Olsson in Ecuador, Venezuela, and Guatemala, 1945. The volume begins with notes relating to study of collected specimens as well as names and addresses. This is followed by entries that are narrative in structure and headed with location. They describe routes, observations of geological characteristics of terrain (color, shape, composition), specimens found and identified, geological sections with notes. Some entries are dated.
