Abstract

The notebook documents the work of Axel A. Olsson in Mancora, Punta Mero, Plateritos, Fernandez, La Breita, Santa Clara, [Peru], May - July 1925. The volume is stamped the property of the Geological Department Negritos. Entries often dated, some are narrative in structure and are headed with location. They describe destinations, travel details, detailed descriptions of terrain (measurements, bearing, geological characteristics, formations), fossils found. Many entries are lists of data including numbered locality, bearing, measurements, and sometimes notes.
