Abstract

The 14 drawings of Cheilodactylus, Pentapus, Arripris, Isacia Pharopteryx, Priacanthus and other unidentified fishes were drawn by Joseph Drayton and John H. Richard for the US Exploring Expedition, 1838 - 1842. Illustrations are black and white, and highly detailed. Some include location information. They are undated. Locations include Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, Peru, Callao, and Manila.
