Abstract

The notebook documents the paleontology field work of William A. Oliver in Ohio and New York in August 30 - September 1966, New York in May 6 -7, 1968. A note on the first page references trips to Ohio, October 13 - 14, 1967, and New York May 5 - 6, 1967, and May 6 - July 1968. Entries are dated and list locality information (local landmarks, quadrangle, road or town in vicinity, and state), followed by descriptions of terrain, geological characteristics like color and composition of layers, and presence of coral. Covers 66-58 to 66-95, 7813 to 7979. Localities often include quarries.
