Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of William A. Oliver in New York and Ontario, Canada, in September 7 - 17, 1965. Oliver begins with a summary of the trip: west New York to southwest Ontario with D.J. McLaren, B. Sanford, W. Norris, E.J. Buehler, and D.A. Dean. Entries are dated, include loc number (nonsequential), location information (quadrangle, landmarks, town or road in vicinity), description of terrain and strata, and types of fossils present. Some entries also note the weather conditions and affiliations of individuals present. Localities include but are not limited to Hagersville, Decewsville, and Port Colborne, Ontario.
