Abstract

The notebook documents the paleontology field work of William A. Oliver in Illinois and Ohio, June 1 - 6, 1964. According to a note on the first page of the volume, he was conducting work in the Logansport, Indiana area with G.A. Cooper, J.T. Dutro, and T. Phalen. Entries are dated and include numbered location (64-1 to 64-6), location information (quadrangle, landmarks, road or town in vicinity), measurements and characteristics of strata, types of fossils present. Entries also document field work in Sylvania, Ohio, June 5, 1964.
