Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of William A. Oliver for the U.S. Geological Survey in New York,August 11 - 25, 1962. In the front of the volume is a list of collectors and dates collected (George Rabchevsky, L.V. Rickard, E.J. Buehler, Leo Laporte, J.W. Wells). Entries are dated and cover location information such as landmarks, town in vicinity, and cross roads; characteristics of terrain including color and composition; and specimens collected (6063 to 6098).
