PrintThe notebook documents the field work of William A. Oliver for the U.S. Geological Survey in Kentucky, October 21 - 26, 1961. In the front of the volume is a list of individuals with whom he collected (J.T. Dutro, Jr., H.I. Saunders) and short itinerary. The volume covers field work enroute to Cincinnati, G.S.A. meet. Entries are dated and include either geological sections, or numbered locality, followed by description of terrain, and specimens collected (5931 to 5963). Includes description of photographs taken. Locations include but not limited to the falls of the Ohio River in vicinity of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky, Cherokee Park, and Beargrass Creek.
