Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of William A. Oliver for the U.S. Geological Survey in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and Bushkill, New Jersey, June 3 - 10, 1961. The volume covers 5845 to 5885. In the front of the volume is an itinerary, listing location and collectors. Entries are dated and include either geological sections, or "loc" number, followed by location information such as town in vicinity, quadrangle, and landmarks; description of terrain; and specimens collected (with 4-digit number in the left-hand margin).
