Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of William A. Oliver in New York, May 18 - 30, 1959. In the beginning of the volume is a list of individuals on the trip: G.A. Cooper, Mrs. Cooper, R.S. Boardman, L.V. Rickard, D.F. Fisher, P. Sartinaire, Mich House, G. Bernat, J.T. Dutro, Jr., W.A. Oliver, Jr. The entries are headed with location, date, followed either geological sections with measurements, and description of layer composition or numbered list of sites with location information such as landmarks and street names, terrain description, and specimens collected. There is a note stating that there are "no duplicate notes, not in any file."
