Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of William Oliver in Kingston and south to study the Silurian strata and structure, August 29, 1952. Includes a list of names on the cover, who appear to have been on the trip as well (spellings may not be accurate): Newt Chute, John Broughtn, Shep Lowran, Lynn Kreidler, John Johnsen, Ralph Dignan. Entries are numbered sites that include location information such as local landmarks (e.g. roads, vicinity of) followed by descriptions of terrain. There are notes referencing numbered "pics."
