Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of William Oliver in Onondaga county, New York, September 3, 1951 - May 25, 1952. Work covers locations 108 - 124. Entries are dated and headed with location number, location (e.g. "W. edge H. Falls Qua") sometimes listing local landmark in vicinity, description of geological layers including measurements, composition and color, and remarks about types of fossils present. Also documents trips to Utica and Albany in 1952.
