Abstract

The color illustration by John L. Ridgway documents an adult male specimen of Fratercula arctica, collected in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on February 12, 1884. Notes on the illustration indicate the colors are from a fresh specimen, but note a discrepancy in iris color. Specimen number is included on the illustration.
