Abstract

In the letter to Robert Ridgway from A. W. Anthony, dated June 2, 1895, and sent from San Francisco, California, Anthony describes the collection of male and female specimens of Oceanodroma socorroensis. Details include color of feathers, description of distinct markings, and a comparison of specimens based on collection from same or differing burrows. Anthony offers to collect eggs and skins from the same colony and send to Ridgway for deposit.
