Abstract

The field book documents the work of Charles L. Gazin in Dragon Canyon and Bridger Basin, May 31 - August 29, 1946. The notebook states it documents the "1946 Expedition Dragon and Bridger," Acc. 174,444. It contains a specimen list that details specimen number (1-98), description, collector (C.L.G., C.G., F.P.), date (May 31 - August 29), and locality. Locality description varies in length, and is sometimes very detailed. One narrative passage describes the movement of camp on August 17 - 18. Also included is a list of boxes with descriptions of contents (specimen number, description, weight), and date and location they were shipped.
