Abstract

The 24 black-and-white photographs document field work completed on Birnie Island, on October 11, 1966. The photographs show interior island terrain, beach, coastline of lagoon, island coastlines, Blue-faced Booby on nest, Grey-backed Tern egg, and a Green Turtle. The images have captions on the reverse side that list location, description, date, photographer (P. Woodward), and negative numbers (50A - 73A). Several captions include directional details about views.
