Abstract

Includes two notebooks that document D. B. Burrow's specimen collecting. The first notebook is undated and lists names of collectors, sometimes their location, followed by specimens selected, desired, and whether to inquire about price. Specimen description includes common name and measurements. The second notebooks documents details for specimens 740-798, dated 1897-1899. Pages contain stamped fields. Specimen details vary, including A.O.U. no., name, locality, incubation, collector, nest, and sent to. Some include extensive measurements. Collecting locations are across Illinois and Texas.
