The field book and loose notes document the work of Charles L. Gazin in Central Utah, May 23 - September 22, 1939. Loose notes detail expenses to Utah, organized by date and list for meals, travel, salary, supplies, etc. Includes details about locations. The notebook states it documents the "1939 Expedition to Central Utah," Acc. 152,532. It contains a specimen list comprised of specimen number (1 - 62), description, collector (F.P., C.L.G., G.F.S.), date (June 5 - August 4), and locality description. Locality description varies in length, and sometimes very detailed. Locations include Dragon Canyon.
