Abstract

The field book documents Devra Kleiman's work in Yellowstone, June 5-20, 1980. First notes in the volume relate to work she conducted in other areas and list of contacts with affiliations. Entries are dated and detail observations of wildlife including pronghorn and bears (quantity, sex, age, behavior), terrain, vegetation, and location (indicated by name of landmark, e.g. ranch name). Also discusses conversations with colleagues (National Park Service staff), use of transmitters and ear tagging for wildlife management of bears. In the back of the volume are details about photographs taken. Includes a loose insert (business card).
