There is a list of screening samples with specimen number (e.g. W-##-#) and description; photographs taken with captions; sediment samples; details about specimens taken; and field plans. There are sketches of landscapes.|Toward the end of the notebook there is a description of exploration of pits dug by L. L. Ray and Ellis Crawford, July 22, 1966. Descriptions are listed per each numbered pit. There are notes on bones in collections at Brooks Museum in Charlottesville, Virginia.
