The field book documents Remington Kellogg's field work in Maryland for the US Biological Survey during the summers of 1939 to 1941. Entries are dated and include travel details (mileage, destinations, mode of travel, time of day), descriptions of specimens and location where found, photographs taken, and geological sections with notes on presence of fossils.
