PrintThe black-and-white photographs document field work on Jarvis Island for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, November 1964. There are captions on the reverse side of images that list negative number, location, description, date, and photographer (P. Woodward). Sometimes description includes information about age or behavior of birds. Subject matter cover birds (Blue-faced Booby, Darkphase Red-footed Booby) and nestlings, IGY house, structures on island, and reef.
