Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document field work on Palmyra Island for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, April 2 - 4, 1964. Photographs have captions on the reverse side and include location, date range, description, and photographer's initials (RBC). Sometimes description includes additional information about what portion of the island is photographed. Subject matter covers vegetation, habitat (coastline), remains of supply tents in camp, structures on island, and nesting grounds.
