Abstract

The field notes document the ornithological field work of Joshua F. B. Camblos in Virginia, March - July 1935. Entries are headed with date, type of bird (common name), description collecting location, type of vegetation in habitat, nest composition, and measurements. Other entries include a combination of information such as date, name, no. in set, incubation, situation (e.g. habitat), sizes; a table with no., name, no. on set, date, inc., A.O.M. no., situation, vicinity; and narrative descriptions of collecting. Locations include Dorchester. Other locations are not clearly indicated.
