Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document field work on Phoenix Island [Rawaki], November 1963. The images have captions on the reverse side listing location, date range, and initials that might be that of photographer. Subject matter covers individual birds in their habitat (unidentified and a Lesser Frigate), nests, unidentified bird colonies, vegetation, and camp.
