Abstract

This item consists of photocopied and carbon copy field notes of William O. Wirtz from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1963 and 1964. Included are Wirtz' notes documenting his experiences tagging seals, banding and collecting birds, and observing birds at sea near Lisianski Island and Johnston Atoll.
