PrintThis is 2 of 3 envelopes of black and white photographs documenting field work on Wake Island for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1964-1965. Photographs have captions on the reverse side and list description, location, and date (April 1964). Subject matter includes detail images of individual birds of various ages (Frigate bird, Red-footed Booby, Sooty Tern, Noddy) as well as bird colony and nesting area. Locations include Wilkes Island, Peale Island, Flipper Point, and Kuku Point.
