PrintThe envelope of black and white photographs documents field work on Taongi Atoll in the Marshall Islands for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, October 10 - 12, 1964. There are captions on the reverse side of the photographs that list location, date, description, and photographer. Photographs were taken by Phil Lehner and A. B. Amerson, Jr. Images show participants and rafts coming ashore, base camp, as well as various participants setting up camp and in the field. Some individuals are identified.
