Abstract

The black and white photographs document field work on Sand Island for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, October 17, 1968. There are captions on the reverse side of the images, listing negative number (#737 - 741), location, description, name of photographer, and date. Images show a 1 year old Great Frigate bird that was banded on French Frigate Shoals and caught on Sand-Johnston Island.
