PrintThis item consists of the photocopied field notes of R. W. Tuxson, from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1966 and 1967. The field notes include daily accounts of bird observation, banding, and collecting at sea and on Johnson Atoll, Enderbury Island, and Howland Island. Some small drawings illustrate Tuxson's physical descriptions of birds. A skin catalog is included, with collector's field numbers 0430-6715 (approximate, not listed in ascending order).
