Abstract

The black and white photographs document field work completed during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Lisianski Island, June 1966. Caption information includes negative number, location, date, description, and photographer. Photographs were taken by Philip C. Shelton. Subject matter cover vegetation (types and abundance), terrain of island, participants at work (Frank Smith), Hawaiian Monk Seal mother and pup, birds in habitat (Great Frigatebirds, Laysan and Black-footed Albatross).
