The two envelopes of black and white photographs show field work completed for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Kure Island (undated). Images have captions on the reverse side with a description. Subject matter includes detail images of individual albatross at various stages of development. Many of the pictures include a ruler to indicate size. Captions sometimes indicate age of a numbered chick (e.g. 22 days old).
