Abstract

Black and white photographs document terrain and wildlife on Jarvis Island, 1948, 1953, and undated. The envelope includes four photographs showing unidentified individuals with birds, island daybeacon, terrain, and group portrait. Photographs are from the Department of the Interior. Other photographs are from Bernice P. Bishop Museum. They include captions with negative numbers. Subject matter show structures, terrain, vegetation, flocks of birds, and beaches.
