Abstract

The black-and-white photographs come in a variety of sizes, documenting field work completed on Lisianski Island for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1963. Includes an envelope of images showing individual and groups of birds in habitat, nests, coastline, seals, and vegetation. On the back side is a negative number. Also includes contact sheets showing seals, participants at work, vegetation, and birds. There are also loose sheets from a photograph album. Images have descriptions, usually indicating type of bird or plant in image. Full size photographs have detailed descriptions on the reverse side with date, location, description and negative number. May contain duplicates.
