PrintThese original photographs mounted on board and with captions pertain to Stejneger's extensive study of the fur seals of the North Pacific-Bering Sea area. The photographs show several locations in Glinka, Copper Island (officially Ostrov Mednyy) including Zapadni Rookery, Pestshani hauling grounds and salt house, Urile Kamen Rookery, and Zapalata Rookery. Some or all of these images may be published. Many of the photographs are dated August 1895.
