Abstract

Four envelopes of color photographs document the vegetation and terrain of Christmas Island [Kiritimati], as part of the documentation of Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Images are undated. Subject matter includes images of terrain, taken from aerial and oblique angles. Envelopes 1, 2 ,and 3 primarily include aerial images of coastline and interior of the island; there are a few oblique images of vegetation. Envelope 4 includes images of vegetation, unidentified participants in the field, roads, and vessel with local inhabitants.
