Abstract

19 black-and-white photographs document observations during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, August, 1966. Images have captions on the reverse side, and list location, date, and description. Subject matter shows the process of clubbing seals. These include the stages of gathering, clubbing, tallying, and skinning seals--showing skinners, clubbers, stickers, and rippers. Images are taken close-up and from a distance. Location was at St. George Island, Alaska.
