Abstract

These are observation check-lists documenting birds seen October 1 - November 27, 1964, as part of Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Sheets list location (latitude and longitude, or island in the vicinity), observer, date, time (started), time (ended), and weather (includes sea conditions). Information relating to observer and weather are not completed. There are also notes on distance. Below this information is a list of species followed by abundance (quantity), breeding (quantity), and remarks. There are totals for birds at the bottom of sheets. Locations are in the vicinity of the Marshall Islands including Bikar to Taku; Kwajalein Atoll; Jaluit Atoll; Maiana to Kuria; Midway.
