Abstract

These are NGS #12 observation check-lists documenting birds seen July 1 - 19, 1964, as part of Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Sheets list location (latitude and longitude, or island in the vicinity), observer, date, time (started), time (ended), and weather (includes sea conditions). There are also notes on distance. Below this information is a list of species followed by abundance (quantity), breeding (quantity), and remarks. There are totals for birds, flocks, feeding flocks, and species identified, at the bottom of the sheets. Locations include the vicinity of Oahu, French Frigate Shoals, Johnston, and Kaula Island.
