Abstract

This field correspondence documents work completed during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, August to October 1964. Correspondence documents travel, supplies, shipments of specimens, and other logistics It also describes field work challenges, interactions (several references to an adopted pet dog), and observations of local flora and fauna. These include bird lists with notes on abundance, and sometimes date and description of studies of rat populations. There is some description of terrain. Locations include Pribilof, Alaska; Kure Island [Hawaii]. Correspondents are numerous.
