Abstract

This field correspondence documents work completed during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, March - April, 1963. Letters describe work completed, staffing, and logistics (supplies, schedules, itineraries, etc.). Also includes reports detailing bird banding efforts with overviews and some specifics on staff, sightings (both by staff and other individuals), and locations; also includes specimen lists. Locations include Kure Islands and Johnston Atoll, and Samoan Islands. Correspondents are numerous.
